The VACONODOME – Techos Domos – VACONO

Aluminum Geodesic Domes provide a virtually maintenance free option for any above ground storage tank or water basin requiring vapor suppression or environmental control.
The VACONODOME
- – Is designed in accordance with API 650, App. G as well as to the individual requirements of the customer and the region it is to be installed (e.g. high snow load areas).
- – Is entirely statically calculated and designed in house.
- – Is fabricated through the use of computer guided CNC and Plasma cutting machinery allowing for minimal tolerances and easy erection on site.
- – Is manufactured from a variety of aluminum alloys and stainless steel materials and undergoes strict QC procedures from purchase of raw materials to dispatch of the completed product.
1. Methods
- Installation can be performed in different ways:
- On the ground outside the tank.
- Inside the tank on the tank floor.
- On the EFRT inside the tank.
- Jack-up method.
2. Tooling
- To erect a VACONODOME you will need the tools listed in the provided Tool-List.
3. Supervision
